Today I start to research on artists that I can choose when I'm doing my outcome. I want to find artists that have very unique feature of their works, like Pablo Picasso or Egon Schiele. I made a list of artists I want to research first, Pablo Picasso, Claude Monet, Dali, Joan Miro, Frida Kahlo, Vincent Van Gogh, Egon Schiele, Loribelle Spirovski, Sarah Haug. I'm going to look for the biggest feature of these artists when they are drawing, like what kind of colour do they usually use or how does their line works look like. For example, Egon Schiele's line works are very distinctive and Pablo Picasso usually uses thick lines and contrast color in his artworks. 

Today I went to the Publication exhibition where we have the outcomes of the Publication Project. I was very impressed by all the works. There're several ones I like the most. One of them is a book with just four pages. The color of the papers is black and the person used gold to print. The content was very simple, I remember it was about the cradle of four different gems. The print was very good, the pages are very few and there aren't much drawing in the book but the whole book look very professional. It looks like the manual you would get from a museum.

I decided I'm going to draw the pictures on canvas and photoshop them onto photos of selected locations. I personally found it was very interesting to imitate the artists styles.

This time I want to make something the audience can play with. My thought was I can place it as a street art on a side way. The reason I used foot prints is because people can trace the foot prints when they pass by. Part of my concept is hoping people could take a little pause on the painting, after they pass this painting they are going to aim for their destination again but maybe this work could become a little buffer during their busy journey.

In this final project, the idea came up when I was back to my country during March because of the virus situation. When I saw people crowd in the airport, everyone was walking so hurry and careful, I realized that I didn't feel negative about the current situation. Instead I think this is a very memorable moment, it's a very precious experience that I would probably never encounter again. I felt like I want to record this, but the scene is not only limited with the virus situation. For example, a busy job that made a salary man sweating all over during mid-summer because he needs to deliever a paperwork to the company in 20 minutes or a walk after lunch with classmates from cafeteria to the teaching building. I think any events we experience in our life, no matter bad or good, has meanings and they're important because they're part of us. Over that I thought about walking. Walking is a action that's very normal but almost participated in any big events or small things during our times. And in every places we went, lefts our footprints, every foorprints are evidence we went to this place and they storages these memories. That's why I used foorprints as the main element in the project.
