Emmanuelle Moureaux, Forest of Numbers
The Forest of Numbers is not only spectacular from its appearence, when I dig deep into the aim of this installation, I felt respectful to it. The numbers are numbers of years from 2017 to 2026 divided into 10 layers with 100 colors, it's like a peculiar, huge calendar. And there're pathes trought the forest which added playfulness to the installation, it allows the audience to experience the forest without distance.
Dan Tobin Smith, Alphabetical
I think it's very clever and creative, how Dan Tobin displayed his works. He used an unusual way to display the letters in the scenes he set, which makes the work more intriguing. It inspired me that when interacting with the public space, the works can blend into the enviroment as a part of it, when the background is also included in the idea.
Loribelle Spirovski
Loribelle Spirovski is an illustrator I like a lot. I like the way she combines two different drawing styles in her portrait paintings. I can see a diversity in her artworks. Since Loribelle Spirovski was grown up in a culturally diverse family, it very much reflected on her artworks. Because of her very unique style, it's very obvious when people saw the works and can immediately know it's Loribelle Spirovski.

Egon Schiele
About Schiele, I personally like his line works a lot. I think one of Schiele's biggest trait is there're both softness and rigidity in his paintings. The color he uses are usually dim so there's always a feeling of sadness coming out of his paintings.
Pablo Picasso
Pablo Picasso is so famous because of his abstract arts. I'm definitely going to choose him since his style has became a symbol. Picasso usually would use thick black lines to outline. And usually there's very few blank spaces, the paintings always look very dense.

Lip Pop Art(Scale)
Because this time my starting point was trying pop arts so I did many research on pop art artist and their styles. The most common pop art works mostly have evenly divided grids and high saturated pure color. The object usually don’t go with it’s originally color, and there’s a lot of using of contrasting colors.
Domino, Paper Tape on Wall(Scale)
This is a series of geometric self portraits made by Aakash Nihalani. The inspirational point for me is this installation would be much less funnier without interacting with people. Because its interactivity it became a great work.
Bruce Mao - Massive Change Manifesto(Final Visualization)
I think this is a very interesting project. In this project I especially like this piece, I was inspired by how Bruce Mao choose the way to present the pictures because it fits his concept very well. His aim was to show changes, and he also believes process is more important than results. Like the pictures support his idea, I find it’s important that the information we give the audience need to be reasonable to explain and can be understood.
Tauba Auerbach, Flow Separation
The technique of this artwork is very intriguing because it's painted on a ship. The idea of the dazzling patterns was inspired by the flow of fluid dynamics, I think it's a great idea that is painted on a ship, the shapes of flows are reflecting with the water. Also, because this ship played an important role in 9/11, the entry point is not only limited in its visual view. Tauba Auerbach's aim is to connect people to important memories in the history. To tell people the time of wars should not be forgotten.
Vancouver, Laneways
It's a very interesting design, it have the closet connection to the audiences, people are surrounded by the design. On the other hand it's very playful as well, I think the biggest intention is probably on affecting the audience's emotion. When I saw this design, I felt very cheered up.
Noémie Goudal, Haven Her Body Was
I was interested by these two specific works. They have showed me the importance of place choosing. In these two photos, the scenario on the canvas are both having great difference from it's background. Like in the first picture the background is undecorated and rough, but on the canvas there's a rain forest with sunlight through the thick leaves. Because these two scene are way different from each other, it makes the audience curious about the artist's intention. The impact of the pictures are great because of the difference as well.

Vincent Van Gogh
I like Vincent Van Gogh's stokes that he usually paints in background. It's kinda a feature of his artworks as well.
Claude Monet
The biggest point of Monet's artworks is definitely his colour using and vague contour of objects. Monet's paintings has a smooth and gentle atmosphere.
Joan Miro
Joan Miro's artworks all look like they were made by a little child. The shapes are very disordered and funny. I found out in almost Joan Miro's painting, there're have hexagram shapes, I don't the meaning of them but it's a interesting discover. Joan Miro usually use only use one colour from the same colour system, like light red and dark red usually don't exist in the same painting.
Max Rovira (Scale)
Max Rovira is a Catalan painter from Spain. His paintings are very much close to cubism but in his earliest works, he directed himself in post-impression. I think his paintings are very special. I think the one of the biggest specialities of his paintings is the existence of the white lines, they made the paintings look like there are sags and crests. Some of his works I thought they were made by iron plates. His works mostly inspired me of bold color using. His paintings are very odd but they make sense by showing ironic.
E1000: 3D Pedestal Street Art(Scale)
Because the place I chose is on the ground, the first thing I came to my mind is 3D street art. This piece is made by Spanish artist e1000. It gives people the illusion the pedestal is elevated from the ground.
Morag Myerscough - Temple of Agape(Final Visualization)
Because I’m looking for pop art elements and one of the biggest point of pop art is bright colour. But I don’t think it’s designed like this because of pop art but it’s theme idea. The word "Agape" indeed means love but it means general empathy for all people. In Bible, it’s mostly used on God’s love to humanity, so I thought it’s a kind of sacred and pure love. But according to Morag Myerscough, her concept is that this is a celebration of love of humanity, its aim is to celebrate the year which same-sex marriage became legal. Couple were invited to marry or renew vows on the stage, no matter they are straight or gay, young or old. After knowing her concept, I was convinced. For this, I think it’s very interesting that she put the words at the back, they are all sentences or words about love, it also includes a phrase by Martin Luther King, "I have decided to stick with love".
William Davey - A Safe Historical Distance(Final Visualization)
I like the location William Davey chose to present his paintings, this kind of frame usually reminds me of stained glass window in churches, but in William’s works, he is using funny illustrations to tell the history instead. Location choice is quite important when presenting the works, it affects how the audience understand the works. Because of the frame, I thought of stained glass and it kind make sense cuz the painting is about history.
